My background is in Business Administration.  I worked in corporate for about 17 years before I was introduced to this business.  I was working towards my real estate career when I was asked to help manage a tattoo shop.  It was supposed to be a temporary position, but I soon learned to love the business.  I built and restructured what was, at that time, a starter business and turned it into a thriving shop with some of the best customer ratings in the MKE area.  In my corporate background, it was not about quantity, but the quality of work produced.  In my search to expand the business, I was faced with the challenge of finding an experienced & licensed piercer, and that’s when I decided to start my piercing career.  I read books, watched videos, attended webinars, and joined a team of experienced piercers from all around the states who were willing to help me in my journey.  I offered my piercing services to the local MKE area for about 4 years before I trained my first apprentice.  She was a successful piercer for about 2 years before I took on my second apprentice.  He has been extremely successful and has been by my side ever since.  I was given the opportunity to open my own place in September of 2023 and that’s when this project started.  I am proud to be able to provide a safe environment where artists can flourish and be themselves.

My journey in operations management has been marked by a dedication to fostering a positive work culture and empowering my team to reach their full potential. Working on this new venture with my best friend in her family-oriented salon will be an adventurous experience. Outside of work, you can find me indulging in culinary adventures, or volunteering in my local community.
